Former Australian spinner Shane Warne expressed Australia’s onslaught of New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 final between the co-hosts at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday.
Warne, a regular on social media, shared an image of a kangaroo (Australia’s national animal) in a compromising position with a kiwi (New Zealand’s) on his official Instagram page with the caption, “Gotta love this pic !!! Hahahah… AUSSIES giving it to the kiwis, classic…#worldcupfinal2015 #AustVNz.” The post referred to the brilliant Australian attack on BlackCaps as they were bowled out for a modest 183 in the ultimate match of the mega-event. After winning the toss, New Zealand looked nothing like the aggressive self as the hosts ripped apart their batting line-up with no one but Grant Elliott stayed put at the crease with 83, while Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Johnson and James Faulkner shared eight wickets.
