A veteran and well-renowned journalist Piers Morgan organised for a unique cricket match between his XI and Newicks XI. Ever so colourful Shane Warne turned up for it and apparently had a brief partnership with Morgan, which was a highlight of this match. Tino Best was the show stealer pummelling a 55 not out off just 19 balls.
In this picture posted on Instagram by Tino Best, we see the happy-quadra of Warne, Morgan, Best and Adam Hollioake. Best wrote, “Thanks so very much for having me today the Love was crazy I’m so blessed in so many ways.”
Morgans XI ended up with 148 from their full quota of 20 overs, which was good enough to see them win. Former England cricketer Hollioake also helped in the win’s cause.
