The third Test of the Basil D’Oliveira Trophy between South Africa and England saw a mind bobbling feat achieved in Test cricket. Many a times it has been witnessed that the whole team steps up and contributes substantially. Despite few ups and downs, South Africa somehow managed a determined total of 313 runs in their first innings.
Surprisingly, for the first time in the history of Test cricket, all the 11 batsmen in the batting line-up managed to reach double-figures but none managed to breach the 50 runs mark. In fact, this is the only instance when such bizarre thing happened. This is a unique feat as this is the only 13th time when all the batsmen in the line-up have crossed the ten runs mark.

Dean Elgar top scored the South African innings with his tenacious knock of 46 runs and Morne Morkel being the lowest run-scorer with 12 runs to his name. On a wicket where batting was a bit difficult as the bowlers got enough assistance, contributions like these makes the difference.
