Indian cricketer S Sreesanth is known to wear his emotions on sleeves. During his playing days, he was known to be an impulsive cricketer who never shied away from taking on the opposition, no matter how formidable it was. IPL spot-fixing scandal marred his career and now he has turned into a politician and will be contesting in the Assembly Elections on a BJP ticket.
Fighting on a different pitch, Sreesanth did not quite tone down his aggression and reminded the world of his aggressive attitude. Recently, in his new assignment, Sreesanth first called Kerala a city and faced a Twitter-backlash. Here’s what he tweeted:
The change is must in Kerala Nd Iam sure It will happen this time..we can be worlds best city if we all work together..
— Sreesanth (@sreesanth36) April 17, 2016
His tweet was met with the following reactions from Twitterati:
What will be the name of the football club owned by sreesanth – Kerala City FC

Aghast by the outrage, Sreesanth went on a blocking spree, potentially blocking his voters:
Dear @sreesanth36, blocking a potential voter for pointing out a mistake, is not a very good idea #ProTip pic.twitter.com/dnVuiHYIdD

Meanwhile, he kicked-up another storm when he engaged himself in a Twitter spat with Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram, Shashi Tharoor. It started after Tharoor’s tweet below:
Why @sreesanth36 needs to do his homework against the incoming bouncer: https://t.co/2pLbkFxu64 Should have stuck to his great outswingers!
— Shashi Tharoor (@ShashiTharoor) April 19, 2016
Sreesanth followed it up with a series of tweets, just the way he troubled the batsmen with a barrage of bouncers. He deleted a few tweets, content of which is mentioned below:
I would have loved to keep bowling them but did u even call or help me and my family or did u even have any word to help me..when me and my family was struggling get through my toughest situation..u r party didn’t even call or help ..u guys only talk. so Lets not get thr..one thing is for sure ,once i become Mla I will make sure no one goes through what I went through

Sreesanth has seen the extreme highs and abysmal lows in his life thus far. Whether or not he succeeds on this fresh pitch; only time will tell.
