The Supreme Court on Monday slammed Sundar Raman, Indian Premier League’s (IPL) chief operating officer, for not doing his job properly and for ‘watching the fun’.

Raman, who is believed to be very close to N Srinivasan, was among the four officials who have been charged for misdemeanour in the IPL spot-fixing and betting.

As per the submitted Mudgal report, Raman had contacted a bookie eight times in one season. The report also mentions that he had information about Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra taking part in betting, but did not act. However, Raman has denied the allegations and filed an affidavit in the apex court.
