A Man-of-the-Match award is a prestigious one and Wright starred in one of the games in Dhaka Premier League. One such award was also given to Wright in the 2013 edition of Dhaka Premier League for his magnificent outing in the game. But surprisingly, the award turned out to be a blender which is quite awkward in this era of cricket where players get attractive prizes and hefty cash on such achievement. In an old tweet from Wright, he posted a picture of him while receiving the award and wrote, “Pleased we won my first match 4 Abahani today.
