England cricketer James Taylor announced his shocking retirement from international cricket due to serious heart condition called ARVC (Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Arrhythmia). Taylor pulled off from a game against Cambridge MCCU which was believed to be viral but further tests and scans had a sad news for the 26-year old right handed batsman.

ECB official Twitter account revealed the shocking news with their tweet:

Taylor was one of the most accomplished batsmen England possessed and has done a reasonable job in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). English Team Director Andrew Strauss was quoted in a report from Cricbuzz saying, “It is both shocking and saddening to hear that James’ career has been cut short in such a sudden and unexpected manner. Throughout his career, he has constantly impressed with his determination to make the absolute most of his ability, and it is immensely cruel that such a hard working player will be unable to fulfil his great potential in the international arena. The ECB will work closely with Nottinghamshire and together we will do everything possible to help James through this difficult period, and aid him in his recovery.” Taylor himself tweeted and showed some strong character and will power:

Many people are shocked with this incident and some have taken to their Twitter handle to express their grief over this. We present you with some pick of the tweets here:
