Shiva Sena has been in the news lately for their antics. On Monday, they stormed into the office of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to protest, after reports that the board president Shashank Manohar is having a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Shahryar Khan.
Party members, who are called Shiva Sainiks had to be taken away by police after they screamed slogans against the cricketing relations between the two Asian cricket giants. On Sunday, it was reported that the Pakistan Cricket Board Chief (PCB) Shahryar Khan along with the board’s head of executive committee Najam Sethi had left for India in order to convince India for resuming bilateral ties.
The talks between the two boards had to be cancelled following protests by the political party. Twitterati reacted strongly to this with most condemning the attack. We present you with the pick of the tweets.
