Kevin Pietersen was a prolific cricketer for England but issues off the field is what didn’t let him achieve more stardom. After his exclusion from the English side, there have been a lot of speculations regarding his comeback into the side. Many cricket pundits and greats believe that Pietersen still has a lot of competitive cricket left in him and the swashbuckling cricketer constantly testifies the fact with his scintillating performances on the franchise based leagues.
In the ongoing Big Bash League, Pietersen has been instrumental for his side Melbourne Stars. The flamboyant right-handed batsman has played with unmatched confidence and scored runs at a brisk pace. His ability to stand tall and take on the bowlers is grabbing enormous attention across the globe. On Saturday, Pietersen anchored the Stars innings against Melbourne Renegades at Docklands and carried his team over the line with his 67 runs knock in just 43 deliveries.
As the World Twenty20 (T20) is around the corner and looking at the form in which Pietersen is, Twitterati has shown immense support and feels that he should be included in the English line up. Pietersen is a legend and one of the most active cricketers on social media platforms. He enjoys a massive fan following, check out some of the tweets here:

Still don’t get how England continue to say no to Kevin Pietersen — Aadam آدم (@aadamp9) January 9, 2016
It is seriously ludicrous that England continues to ignore Kevin Pietersen. Imagine Australia ignoring Steve Smith #BBL05 @piersmorgan

So you’d bring Kevin Pietersen back into the England World T20 squad, wouldn’t you? #BBL05 — Aaron K (@aarongk) January 9, 2016
I don’t think I have seen @KP24 play as well as this for 7 yrs …. #Justsaying

@BumbleCricket should Luke Wright and KP go with the England side to the #WT20? I think if you wanna win, take your best T20 players!! — George Berry (@gdberry12) January 10, 2016
If you think KP isn’t one of England’s best T20 batsmen you have issues. Morgan needs to push for him getting back in T20 squad

@SiHannawin he’s definitely a knob but so was Keane for instance. KP shafted by a clique to the detriment of the England team sadly — Michael Doublé (@hancock1803) January 9, 2016
More runs for the awful KP funny he seems to get on well with all his other teams . I suggest its England that’s wrong
