Brett Lee was irresistible to watch during his heydays, the speedy Australian bowler has enormous records to his name. Lee has been a keen follower of cricket even after the completion of his playing days and has managed to stick around with the game through commentating as well as analysing.
India have suffered defeat in the first three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against Australia Down Under, they have now lost the five-match series as Australia now have a lead of 3-0. Lee has some useful suggestions for Team India and has appealed to them not to lose confidence as they have been losing matches by a whisker and things can turn anytime for them. Lee feels India didn’t have the desirable bowling attack to contain the hosts as a result of which they had to suffer a series of defeats.
The video above was posted by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter handle. It’s an on field interview where Lee is asked few questions about Indian bowlers and few other things.
Lee has been an admirer of Umesh Yadav and has spoken highly about his potential and abilities. He was also impressed by the young talented left-arm pacer Barinder Sran who has enough weapons up in his sleeve and ability to swing.
Lee also opened up on Virat Kohli and thinks him a legend; he draws a comparison between him and Indian iconic cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. He feels Kohli has similar kind of presence the way Tendulkar had, both are impactful players and make a difference with their elegant play. Watch the video and get to know the complete details of what Lee has to say about the young guns of Indian cricket team.
