West Indies Under-19 team left mo stones unturned for the final encounter of the ICC Under-19 World Cup game against India. The Caribbean team turned the tide in their favour as they defeated the strongest team of the tournament with a convincing margin. Cricket fraternity and people across the globe have applauded West Indies for their valiant effort as the pressure of a final is always at the peak. On this occasion, West Indian senior team cricketer Darren Sammy who is known for his shenanigan on and off the field took to his Instagram handle to wish the young guns. Sammy uploaded a small enchanting video where he was seen moving and expressing his joy and happiness on West Indies’ World Cup triumph. This is also West Indies first Under-19 World Cup triumph. Sammy also wrote, “I had to try the #SpringerDance #chestroll @shamarspringer26 after that superb victory over India by our #under19 team. Congrats to Captain Hetmyer and his troops. Things will only get better for the junior team as the tournament provides as a breeding ground for them and a platform to hone their skills. They have done exceptionally well and it’s party time for the young lads.
