Virat Kohli has a history of losing temper but the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper is now learning to keep a check on it. Kohli was in Mumbai to launch a new initiative ‘Fan Box’ to connect with his fans when a female journalist asked him about his patch-up with Bollywood star Anushka Sharma. The 27-year-old refused to answer it and retorted, “That’sforno one else to know. The (application) is about personalised content but that does not mean they have access to everything that is going on in my life! I would not like to comment on it.” READ MORE: Furious Virat Kohli lashes out at fans for “trolling Anushka Sharma”
He got back to the reporter, asking her, “How is your personal life going on?” The reporter replied that it is going good and Kohli responded by saying, “Good, I am happy for you.”
Kohli’s relationship with Anushka has been making many headlines off late ever since reports of their break up surfaced in February. Earlier this month, Kohli expressed his displeasure at fans who had trolled Anushka for Kohli’s performance and hailed her for always being a positive influence on his career. They were also spotted dinning in a Mumbai restaurant. PHOTOS: Virat-Anushka are back together? Go for late night dinner
Salman Khan’s nomination by Indian Olympic Association
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper and Kohli’s Delhi teammate Gautam Gambhir said that he would have preferred shooter Abhinav Bindra as the brand ambassador of India’s Rio Games. Even legendary Milkha Singh and the likes of Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt have opposed the move of actor Salman Khan for being nominated by the Indian Olympic Association as the brand ambassador of the country’s Rio Games.
But Kohli played a straight bat defence to this question.
“That’s not for me to comment on when I don’t know the details. It won’t be proper for me to comment on this platform,” he said.
