The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have twice had a shot at the Indian Premier League (IPL) cherry, but have failed on both the occasions. This time however, the team looks on a mission. Under the inspirational skipper Virat Kohli, the team entered the IPL 2016 final by defeating Gujarat Lions (GL) by 4 wickets.
But a spot in the final did not come easily to the Bangalore franchise, as they were at one stage struggling on 5 for 29 and further 6 for 68. It required a superhuman effort from AB de Villiers (unbeaten 47-ball 79) to take his side home. As he hit the winning run, entire squad burst into celebration and came running towards him on the ground.
As the RCB players started celebrating in front of the home crowd, there was one more person sitting far away whose happiness knew no bounds. Team Director Siddharth Mallya, whose father Vijay Mallya lost control of the franchise some time back, took to social media to express his excitement. He posted a short video from his official Instagram account. Check what he did:
