Rewind to ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and Star Sports “Mauka” campaign went on to be a super-hit. It all started with a Pakistani fan waiting to burst crackers to celebrate his side’s win in the World Cup. From 1992 to 2015, that chance never came as Pakistan have never beaten India in a World Cup match.
Pakistan have suffered a similar fate against India in ICC World T20 as well. The first time they met was in 2007. The match ended in a tie and India won the bowl-out. A few days later, India went on to clinch another thriller to win the final. The sides met again in 2012 and 2014 editions, and on both occasions, India sealed easy wins.
