It was enticing to watch Indian cricket stars locking horns with Bollywood celebrities on the football ground. The game was played for a cause and it was called Celebrity Clasico 2016 which was played at Andheri Sports Complex. Fans turned out in huge numbers to see their favourite stars in action.
At one stage, the ball was in Abhishek Bachchan’s All Stars FC court after scoring couple of goals against Virat Kohli’s All Hearts FC. But there was a sudden turnaround as Kohli’s side returned from the dead the game with two quick goals. Yuvraj Singh scored the first one for All Hearts FC and then it was KL Rahul who scored the equalizer. Manoj Tiwary was quite impressive from Kohli’s side and so as few others. Director Shoojit Sircar stunned everyone with a terrific header and second one was hit in the nets by Ranbir Kapoor’s trainer Antonio Pecora.
The last time when both these sides played against each other was All Hearts FC winning the battle by 4-3, while this time it ended in a draw. It was also believed that Bachchan wanted penalty shootouts to conclude a result but it wasn’t to be. In the end both the teams shared the trophy.
