She took to Instagram and wrote, “Celebrating a career of utter greatness. 16 strong professional years of hard work, dedication, loyalty, blood, sweat and tears, hunger, fight, character, grit, class and talent. Hubby@michaelclarkeofficial you have been all that & more. You have put on a show of runs over the years, & given us all moments to celebrate, enjoy & be proud to call you our Australian Cricket Captain. Your a man who has given your absolute best & your values for the game & representing your country has never changed. Your family are most proud of you & all your achievements & not one thing will ever overshadow what you have given this fine sport! The next generations are inspired by who you are, as a person, a player, an ambassador & a true leader. Thanks for the journey my Darling love.
