Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has garnered a reputation for being one of the wittiest cricketers on Twitter. Time and again, he gives a good account of his sense of humour through his fun and pun-filled tweets, which are either targeted towards the former/contemporary cricketers, or at some social cause, through which he gives a message to his close to 7.8 million followers. On Monday, he wished his former Delhi and Delhi Daredevils teammate Shikhar Dhawan in his trademark style on his birthday. Around the same time, we came across a hilarious Sehwag video, where he equates wives with cricket umpires and also shares his secret mantra to keep wives happy.
The video is a promo of web show ‘Viru Ke Funde’, which is a Viu original series creation. Its web episodes will come out thrice a week; on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In this promo, Sehwag can be seen sitting with his friends (one of whom is Mithun Manhas, veteran First-Class cricketer) and having a casual chat. When Manhas asks him that though he conquered the express pacers like Shoaib Akhtar and Brett Lee, could he emerge victorious over his wife? In response, Sehwag comes up with a cheeky reply, which makes our day!
Check the video here for Sehwag’s supremely entertaining #ViruKaGyaan.
Sehwag equates wives with cricket umpires in the video and backs his argument with sound logic. His life hack on this particular issue of dealing with wives will surely be of great help of millions of men who want a fix for this issue.
Earlier, three months back, Sehwag had shared a picture with his wife on Twitter, stating how a man should behave like a non-striker in marriage and let wife take the strike, so as to keep the marriage going. His tweet explained the complex concept of marriage with the help of a funny cricketing metaphor.
With wife be like u r at non-striker end.Let her do the talking & run when you need to #mybestpartner#ViruKaGyaan pic.twitter.com/x8R2qZN7dF
