WWE stars ‘Bad News Barrett’ and ‘Ryback’ play cricket

Many sportspersons have tried their hand at cricket over the years, the latest to join are World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) stars Bad News Barrett (Stuart Alexander Bennett) and Ryback (Ryan Rodman Reeves) during their recent tour to Abu Dhabi. The duo visited the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Academy to play cricket with some of the kids training in the academy.

Both WWE wrestlers tweeted about playing cricket ahead of the visit.

Upon arrival at the ICC Academy, OSN tweeted pictures and shared details about their experience.

The official account of WWE posted Vine videos on their Twitter to show how Ryback fared while playing.

On how Ryback fared, Barrett said, “He used to play baseball so I thought he was going to have skills that might crossover but I saw him trying to catch, I saw him bowling, I saw him batting and it was like he had never used his arms before. So yeah, he was pretty terrible. He was worse than me, which is saying something.”

Barrett hails from England and recently visited India for promotional work. Currently, he is the Intercontinental Champion in WWE and his popular for his ‘BNB’ gimmick. Ryback hails from United States of America is popularly known as ‘The Big Guy’.
