Australian all-rounder Shane Watson dropped a bombshell when he announced that he will retire from international cricket after the ongoing ICC World T20 2016 in India. The 34-year-old, on Thursday, spoke to the reporters and said, “One morning I woke up in Dharamsala, waking up to the beautiful view and I don’t know what it was exactly but I knew now was the right time. I have really enjoyed my time being back in the Australian squad. But it is quite different; none of the other guys I played with growing up are here any more.” Shane Watson to quit international cricket after ICC World T20 2016

Watson, a father of three, is currently a vital part of the Australian side in India. His family has travelled to India with him. Australia are currently playing Pakistan in a crucial Group 2 Super 10 encounter. While it is a must-win game for Pakistan, much of Australia’s chances rest on this game. Ahead of the match, Watson in his daily routine practised yoga and in company was his son, Will.  His wife Lee posted a couple of adorable pictures and wrote, “Will showing daddy a few Yoga poses before his big match.”
