Herry Tangri will fill in the big shoes of Yuvraj Singh for the biopic on MS Dhoni named ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. Tangri also played a small role in another biopic Bhag Milkha Bhag and was assigned the role of Yuvraj on Friday according to the latest reports. Sushant Singh Rajput is playing MS Dhoni, whereas Anupam Kher will be his father and Kiara Advani will be playing the important role of his wife Sakshi. Tangri was quoted in a report from Mumbai Mirror saying, “The film’s casting director, Vicky Sidana, introduced me to Neeraj sir in October. He had seen me in the unreleased film Bhaangarh and was so impressed, he didn’t even take my audition,”
“I played cricket till the district level but I am a right hand batsman and Yuvi is a lefty. My coach, Mohit Chaturvedi, had to train me for a month before I got the stance right. The first few days were really difficult,” Tangri added.
Tangri’s role will majorly focus on a 1999 state level Under 19 match which was played in Jamshedpur. Dhoni and Yuvraj played in the opposite side and the match hold a lot of importance as selectors were having a close look at the players.
