Japan and Columbia face off in Cuiaba in a match that has everything in for the Japanese to be within a fighting chance of booking a place in the next round in  the FIFA World Cup 2014. The Latin Americans have already booked their place in the Round of 16 with two clinical wins out of two games and are looking good and scoring goals despite losing their talisman Rademael Falcao before the start of the tournament. James Rodriguez has been in red-hot form and has left defenders in a tangle through his mazy runs in the early exchanges of the World Cup.

Japan, on the other hand only have one point out of two games and need to win to have any chances of staying in the tournament. Unlike previous tournaments, the Japanese have lacked bite upfront and have struggled to score goals. They need to up their game or we might not have any asian representatives in the Round of 16 for the first time in three world cups. Shinji Kagawa and Keisuke Honda, the household names of the Blue Samurai need to provide inspiration.
