Shreyas Iyer seems to catching up, in the beginning of the day he just had one four to his name, in thirty minutes, he has hit four boundaries and it is crucuial for him to take the charge now, since the new batsman Karun Nair will take his own time to settle down. While Bangladesh A needed more than 46 overs to reach 200, Dhawan, who is nearing his 150, ensured India was faster. His dominance is nothing but frustration for the young Bnagaldesh bowling attack, especially spinner Nasir Hossain who has had an excellent tour until this match. He was the top-scorer and leading wicket-taker of the one-dayers.

Live cricket score India A 180/1 | Overs 38 | Batting: Shikhar Dhawan 129(129), Shreyas Iyer 13(22): After 35 overs, India A trail by 59 runs with skipper Shikhar Dhawan still facing no trouble. Meanwhile the 20-year-old Shreyas Iyer is taking time to settle down, he is letting his senior do all the big hitting while he is just playing the supporting role. However, it will be interesting to watch the youngster take charge of the innings despite having Dhawan with him on the crease.

At the end of day one, India A were 161 for one with Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer batting on 116(112) and 6(9) respectively after the hosts had bundled up Bangladesh A for 228 with Varun Aaron and J Yadav being their leading wicket-takers bagging 4 wickets each.
