Bengal look in some trouble as the have played four games so far and have drawn all the four games till date this season. As they sit in the fifth spot in the group table, they would like to win this tie at their home and grab the all-important six points as well as the first win of the season. LIVE CRICKET SCORE Vidarbha 141/7 | 52 overs | BATTING: Shrikant Wagh 18(35), Akshay Wakhare 4(17): Pragyan Ojha’s five-wicket haul tore apart Vidarbha’s batting line-up with four batsmen getting dismissed on a single digit. Only their opneer Faiz Fazal played well with 120-ball 63 that is also their top-score so far in their first innings. At stumps of Day 2, Vidarbha trail Bengal by 193 runs with three wickets to spare. The last batsman to get out was Fazal. He became the victim of Ashok Dinda’s fast bowling in the 48th over. OUT! LIVE CRICKET SCORE Vidarbha 6/0 | Bengal 334 | 3 overs | BATTING: Faiz Fazal 5(15), Wasim Jaffer 1(3): Vidarbha bowled out Bengal for 334 from 115.4 overs. Akshay Wakhare claimed four wickets, Shrikant Wagh had three wickets to his name and the other scalps were shared between Ravikumar Thakur and Aditya Sarvate. Meanehile, Bengal’s one-down batsman Sudip Chatterjee top-scored for them yet again with his 200-ball 116. The openers, Abhimanyu Easwaran and Sayan Shekhar Mandal gave a superb start on Day 1 with their respective half-centuries. It is important for Bengal to bowl out Vidarbha for a low total to ensure a first innings lead.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Bengal 265/7 │ Overs 98 │ BATTING: Sudip Chatterjee 76 (149), Pragyan Ojha 17(53): Bengal have recovered so far, with Chatterjee and Ojha having added 51 runs for the eighth wicket so far in 115 balls. Chatterjee looks set to bring up his fourth First-Class century. Ojha is providing valuable support from the other end.

Bengal threw away the advantage they’d got from a terrific opening stand of over hundred runs between SS Mondal and A Eswaran. After both the openers fell for 56 and 58 respectively, rest of the Bengal batsmen couldn’t do much and were dismissed cheaply. Their skipper Manoj Tiwary also fell for just 3 runs. Only Sudip Chatterjee could resist a bit and found some company with Pramod Chandila. The two added 42 crucial runs between them.

At stumps, Chatterjee was fighting it out with an unbeaten 49, as Bengal ended the day at 7 for 217. For Vidarbha, Akshay Wakhare was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets. Vidarbha pulled back things dramatically after the start Bengal got. They’d look to dominate the proceedings on Day 2 as well.
