Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog post of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 Match No. 43, between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Friday. This is the second home ground for MI after the drought issues at Maharashtra. MI will be raring with confidence after their win against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 6-wickets. Every game from here becomes important for MI to win and KXIP on the other hand are struggling at the bottom of the table. MI are place at No.5 while KXIP are at the bottom in IPL 9 Points Table. Live cricket score update | Kings XI Punjab 127/3 | Overs 17 | Murali Vijay 54 (52), Gurkeerat Singh 5 (4): Southee for the 17th over and Mann on strike begins with a dot ball. Vijay come son strike with single and gets a couple of runs. Mann on strike once again with single and KXIP need just two runs to win from 19. Easy win on cards. Mann finishes the match with a glorious FOUR. KXIP win by 7-wickets against MI.

LIVE TOSS UPDATE: MI win toss and elect to bat first!
It was once again Kieron Pollard and Jos Buttler making up for the top-order and providing the finish against RCB at Bengaluru. MI are still not clear of danger. They need to win their remaining matches in order to qualify, and a stumbling block here will spell their doom. KXIP can try various combinations at the moment as they have nothing to lose and play more aggressively. MI will need to be slightly conservative by comparison.
KXIP did not have early wins when they started off their campaign, this time with Murali Vijay donning the role of captaincy, has managed to give a tough competition to their opponents. Keeping Glenn Maxwell away has not favored KXIP and will be hoping to have him back in the squad. The match is being played at Vizag, which has already seen some good cricket over the last few games. An interesting contests awaits at Visakhapatnam.
