It is the final match between Delhi and Gujarat at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Monday and we will bring to you the live updates of the action going on. Both the teams, after defeating their respective opponents in the semi-finals have qualified for the final match and will eye a victory to lift the trophy for this season. While Gujarat had to defeat Tamil Nadu to become finalist, Delhi dominated over Himachal Pradesh and snatched the victory from them to face the Gujarat side in the final match. Gujarat, in their semi-final match against Tamil Nadu batted first to put up a total of 248. The start was not really a strong one as they lost a few early wickets but it was the effort from middle order batsmen Chirag Gandhi and Manpreet Juneja that helped them get to a challenging total. But the game changers were the bowlers as Akshar Patel alone took 6-wickets destructing the Tamil Nadu batting line up. Only Abhinav Mukund created history by remaining unbeaten at 104 but could not save his side Tamil Nadu from a 31-run defeat.
On the other hand, a Gautam Gambhir led Delhi fully dominated in their semi-final match over the opponents Himachal Pradesh. The Delhi bowlers restricted the Himachal Pradesh team within a par score of 200. The chase was made easy by their able batsman Unmukt Chand who scored an unbeaten 80 to see his side come victorious while Delhi kept on losing wickets at the other end.
