After being South Africa’s leading run scorer in the first innings, AB de Villiers seems keen on even becoming the leading wicket taker. He has made a dual-strike against UAE, picking the wickets of Saqlain Haider and Amjad Javed in quick succession.
De Villiers has used the short ball to lure batsman into hitting him but they have mistimed it and the wickets have fallen. De Villiers has taken wickets even as bowlers like Dale Steyn and Vernon Philander have not managed to pick any. The result of the match is a foregone conclusion and UAE are only going through the motions.
