Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, is confident that he will be fit before the start of the upcoming Twenty20 Big Bash League in Australia.

Razzaq suffered the shoulder injury during the third ODI in the recently concluded series against Sri Lanka.

The 31-year-old all rounder will be playing for the Melbourne Renegades, which also has Shahid Afridi, Shaun Tait, Dirk Nannes and Andrew McDonald.

“I’ve been advised two weeks rest by the medics and after that I should be ready to play cricket again. It’s a frustrating injury, but I’m confident that I will be fit for the Big Bash League,” Razzaq was quoted by PakPassion.net.

The Big Bash League begins December 16 when the Sydney Sixers take on Brisbane Heat at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
