In a goof-up, the BCCI on Saturday forgot to mention batsman Abhinav Mukund’s name in its contracted list of cricketers.
The board subsequently informed the media, saying that Mukund’s name features in Grade C, which also has S Sreesanth, Amit Mishra, Munaf Patel and Cheteshwar Pujara among others.
“Abhinav Mukund’s name was missing from the list of the players contracted by the BCCI for the 2011-12 season, sent earlier today. Mukund is in Grade C,” BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale said in a statement.
The BCCI had announced the list at its working committee meeting, held here earlier on Saturday. (PTI)
