The 11th match of Desert T20 Challenge 2017 will be played between Afghanistan and Namibia at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Afghanistan have won two-out-of-two games. On the other hand, Namibia, who are yet to get T20I status but still playing in the tournament because PNG declined to feature, are yet to open their account. Namibia do not have T20I status and therefore even if they pull off a win, Afghanistan will be denied of their seventh consecutive win in T20Is. Afghanistan’s previous two wins came against Ireland and UAE, while Namibia’s defeats also came against the same two teams.
The live cricket telecast of the match will be available on Sky Sports and the live streaming is available on skysports.com. Despite not having the T20I status, Namibia have shown promising performances in both their games. In both the matches, they batted first posted above 145 in each match. Also, they came close to win the match against UAE, which they lost in the last ball thriller.
