Mumbai received a jolt ahead of their Ranji Trophy opener against Railways on November 3 in Delhi with the experienced pace spearhead, Ajit Agarkar, ruled out with an injury.
The fast bowler has been replaced by Murtuza Hussain in the squad, that is led by Wasim Jaffer.
The former champions would also be missing Ajinkya Rahane following his selection in the Indian squad for the Test opener against the visiting West Indies, while Sushant Marathe, is also on the injury list.
Rahane and Marathe have given way to Prashant Naik and Akhil Herwadkar, a release from Mumbai Cricket Association said on Monday. (PTI)
