Jumping on the Ice Cricket bandwagon are former players Ajit Agarkar, Nathan McCullum and Tillakaratne Dilshan. They will feature in the upcoming St. Moritz Ice Cricket to be held in Switzerland from February 8 and 9, 2018.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, speaking about the event, CEO, VJ Sports, Mr Vijay Singh, said:  “We are good to go to make history and are extremely eager to see all these amazing players to take on the challenge and give their fans a lot to cheer about. The special viewpoint is, obviously, the 22 yards offering an approach to snow as opposed to the standard soiled one.”

The two-day extravagant is set to be played in the snow-clad mountains Switzerland. The lake freezes during winters making it possible for people to stand or play on ice, which can hold weights of over 200 tons.

Special pavilion and stands have been constructed for this purpose.

Other greats as Shahid Afridi, Virender Sehwag, Mohammad Kaif, Mahela Jayawardene, Lasith Malinga, Shoaib Akhtar, Michael Hussey, Graeme Smith, Jacques Kallis, Daniel Vettori, Nathan McCullum, Grant Elliot, Monty Panesar and Owais Shah will be divided into Badrutt’s Palace Diamonds and Royals.
