After losing their remaining 4 wickets early during the first session of the second day, India came out to bowl with the objective of not letting the visitors get close to their total of 376 runs.
The ever-reliable Jasprit Bumrah provided a fantastic start to the hosts as he took the wicket of Bangladesh opener Shadman Islam in the first over of the innings.
Then, Zakir Hasan with skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto looked to settle on the crease and not give away any more wickets with lunch right around the corner. Akash was on a hat-trick but wasn’t able to achieve it as next Bangladesh batter, Mushfiqur Rahim survived his delivery.
They almost succeeded in doing so, however, Indian pacer Akash Deep ended up not only breaking their stand in the final over before lunch but also ended up taking the wicket of experienced batter Mominul Haque on the very next ball to restrict the visitors to 26/3.
What a sight for a fast bowler!

Akash Deep bowled 2 absolute rippers and cleaned up both the batters to put the Bangladesh inning in serious jeopardy just before the end of the first session. It will be interesting to see how Akash performs in the remaining innings and how many more scalps will he be able to take.
