Al-Amin Hossain s bowling action had come under scrutiny in the last edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) during the match between Comilla Victorians and Khulna Titans. When Al-Amin bowled Ariful Haque, the officials reported of a suspect bowling action. As per ICC rules, the bowler is supposed to appear for bowling test in span of 14 days. If the bowling is found faulty even after the assessment, the bowler would then head for a rehabilitation program for rectifying the bowling action.

However, Bangladesh are all set to receive the Al-Amin boost ahead of the tri-series. Al-Ami has cleared his bowling action that was reviewed by BCB. Jalal Yunus, BCB s head of bowling action review committee, confirmed the news. After clearing the bowling action, Yunus told the reporters, He bowled below the stipulated 15 degree in the review test. He can bowl in the upcoming league and Dhaka Premier League, as quoted by cricbuzz.

Al-Amin, too, was relieved of passing the bowling test, Naturally it is [a] huge relief after being cleared to bowl. I had worked with my landing as it was found my main problem lies with it.

Al-Amin has caught into a similar problem in 2014. He had undergone assessment in Chennai post which he was cleared by the governing body within three months.
