Alex Hales steers England to at ten overs

Opener Alex Hales smashed a quick half-century to provide steady start to the England innings against India in their first Twenty20 match at Pune.
After ten overs, England were at 89 for the loss of one wicket. Hales was unbeaten on 52 off 30 balls.

England lost opener Michael Lumb early in the match when Ravichandran Ashwin trapped him leg before wicket.
However, Hales and Luke Wright (34) gave the visitors solid start. Hales smashed two big sixes and seven fours.
Indian bowlers except Ashwin were economical. MS Dhoni surprised the commentators when he got Virat Kohli to bowl.
Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bowl first. Jade Tredwell makes his T20 debut in this match.
