In the 40th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, Mumbai Indians were being tied down by the Kolkata Knight Riders spinners namely Shakib Al Hasan and Piyush Chawla and boundaries were hard to come by. The 10th over of the match by Piyush Chawla, as the other overs from the spinners have been in this game, was economical and only six singles came of the over. Shakib was skidding though the ‘rough’ area and Ambati Rayudu was finding it hard to work the ball away and only two runs came of that over as well and Mumbai’s run rate slumped below a run-a-ball. Chawla continued and nearly held on to a caught and bowled chance of Rayudu. Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and chose to bowl at Cuttack. Kolkata made one change as Shakib Al Hasan came in to replace Jacques Kallis. This may have something to do with the nature of the pitch. Mumbai Indians are unchanged in this game.
