Amit Shah likely to become Gujarat Cricket Association’s next President

In 2009, Modi, who was Gujarat Chief Minister was elected unopposed as GCA president.

Former Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) chief Narhari Amin said that Amit Shah could become the organisation’s next President.

“Shah is the GCA’s senior most Vice President and he will be its next President” Amin who controlled GCA for over a decade said here today.

The GCA President’s post fell vacant after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had occupied the post since 2009, resigned a couple of days ago from the post.

In 2009, Modi, who was Gujarat Chief Minister was elected unopposed as GCA president.

Amin, who controlled GCA for over a decade, ruled out the possibility that he would be GCA’s next President.
