Ashes 2017-18: Cricket Australia confirms tickets sale date for Perth Test

Cricket Australia (CA) has on Friday confirmed that tickets to the third Test of the 2017-18 Ashes Series, to be played at the WACA from 14 December, will go on sale to the general public from Friday, 4 August. Members of the Australian Cricket Family (ACF) will be given priority access from Tuesday, 1 August. Fans who wish to take advantage of the ACF priority access period for the Perth Test can sign up for a free membership at www.cricket.com.au/ashes before 23 July. Tickets to the Perth Test will be available through Ticketmaster, from $30 for adults, $10 for kids and $65 for families, the same entry-level prices as last season. Full prices for the Perth Test and the entire 2017-18 men s international cricket season are available at www.cricket.com.au/tickets.

The WACA has played host to some incredible moments in Ashes history, including Adam Gilchrist s 57 ball century in 2006, Doug Walters century in a session in 1974, and the fearsome bowling efforts of Mitchell Johnson and Ryan Harris to help return the urn for Australia at the ground in the 2013-14 series. With this rich history setting the scene, 2017 s Perth Test is set to be another unmissable event.

The Perth Test holds a special place in the summer of cricket and in an Ashes year we are expecting capacity crowds at the WACA throughout the Test, said Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland. We know that many fans, both in Western Australia and abroad, are eagerly awaiting this Test and are keen to secure their place so we are pleased to be announcing an on-sale date for tickets to the match.

Given the strong demand we expect to see for this match we urge people to purchase their tickets early to avoid disappointment, and only purchase from the official ticket agency to ensure they obtain a valid ticket for the official ticket price. Hospitality and Cricket Australia Travel Office packages and Groups of 10 or more people for the Perth Test are on sale now and selling quickly!, Details of these options can be found at www.cricket.com.au/tickets.

Cricket Australia and the WACA are continuing to work with the WA Government and Perth Stadium management on the prospect of hosting the Perth One-Day International between Australia and England, scheduled for 28 January 2018, at the new stadium. Tickets to this match will be on sale at a later date, once the venue has been confirmed.
