In the 24th match of the Indian Premier League, Sunrisers Hyderabad reached 47 for two against Royal Challengers Bangalore and the two batsmen are looking good at the crease.
After losing the wicket of Aaron Finch in the third over, Ashok Dinda continued to bowl the third over. Dhawan played a gorgeous cover drive and only got three runs due to some good work in the deep, cutting off a certain match. KL Rahul came to the crease and played a cracking hook short of a short ball for a boundary. Dinda got his man off the last ball of the over though. A loose delivery wide outside the off-stump induced a full-blooded slash from Rahul and Chris Gayle took a smart catch at first slip.
David Warner was the new man in and he got off the mark by caressing the ball through covers for a boundary. Aaron overstepped in the same over but the Jharkhand pacer followed up with a gem of a yorker slightly outside off stump. There was a a half-chance in the fifth over, where a top edge of Warner’s bat bisected two fielders but Ab de villiers’s magnificent fielding saved a boundary.
