AUS vs IND 5th Test Day 2 Live Updates: Second day draws to a close
Indian bowlers will be eyeing to bundle out the Australian team as soon as they can on the second day of the Sydney Test

The second day of the fifth Border-Gavaskar series Test has come to an end here in Sydney with India on 141/6 and leading by 145 runs. Ravindra Jadeja is batting on 8 from 39 deliveries while Washington Sundar is batting on 6 from 17 deliveries. The third day is expected to be just as gripping as the second day was.
Scott Boland gets his fourth wicket of the innings and it comes in the form of Nitish Kumar Reddy, who heads back to the dugout after scoring just 5 runs. India now stands on 129/6 and lead by 133 runs.
Rishabh Pant’s eventful knock is brought to an end by Australia skipper Pat Cummins. The wicketkeeper-batter departs after playing a valiant innings of 61 runs from just 33 deliveries. India have now been restricted to 124/5 and currently lead by 128 runs.
The India wicketkeeper-batter has gone berserk here in Sydney and has completed his half-century after facing just 29 deliveries. Following that wicket, Travis Head also got dismissed on the very same over, as he got caught by KL Rahul at the second slip. Australia now at 39/4 after 12 overs, trail by 146 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah shines yet again as he has taken the wicket of Marnus Labuschagne, caught behind the wicket by Rishabh Pant. Bumrah was not late in taking the review as a very small spike on the snickometer came in clutch and confirmed the wicket. Australia 16/2 after 7 overs, trail by 169 runs.
