Josh Hazlewood was the hero for Australia with 5 for 38 and 2 for 18 in the match.

Australia romped home to a massive 277-run victory over a hapless West Indies soon after lunch on Day 4 of the second Test at Jamaica. They had already retained the Frank Worrell Trophy with the win in the first Test, and have only consolidated their domination again. West Indies’ decline in Test cricket continued again, with the Australian pacers completing a second-innings rout to ensure a huge win. SCORECARD: West Indies vs Australia, 2nd Test at Kingston

Though Jason Holder (82 not out) and Jermaine Blackwood (51) managed to show some semblance of a backbone in West Indies’ first innings, Denesh Ramdin’s 29 was the best any West Indian batsman could do in the final chase. Veerasammy Permaul was unbeaten on 23, but only two other batsmen got to double figures.
For Australia, it was again the pace bowlers who dominated the show. Josh Hazlewood snared 5 for 38 and 2 for 18, Mitchell Starc took four wickets in the match — including three in the second innings — while Mitchell Johnson and Shane Watson contributed as well. Nathan Lyon followed up his 3-wicket haul in the first innings by taking the last two wickets in the second innings.
