Australia take on minnows Scotland in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Pool A encounter at Hobart. Australia go into this match having already qualified for the quarter-finals. Scotland, on the other hand, have not managed to win a single game in the tournament and are therefore eliminated. But they came extremely close against Afghanistan, which they lost by one wicket. LIVE BLOG: Australia vs Scotland
Australia have lost just one game in the tournament so far, that against New Zealand by one wicket. One of their matches against Bangladesh at Brisbane got washed out as well. But their victories against England, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka were huge and therefore good enough to make it to the knockout stages. They have great balance when it comes to their batting as well as their bowing line-up. With David Warner and Aaron Finch at the top, they will hope to get off to a good start with the middle-order consolidating from there. Mitchell Starc has been their star with the ball and he will look to have a good game ahead of the quarter-finals. LIVE SCORECARD: Australia vs Scotland
Scotland have shown a little bit of fight in most games, but ave failed to get over the line. They also gave New Zealand a run for their money in a low scoring game, but again fell short. Scotland are searching for their first win in World Cups and could take advantage of the Australian side, if they go into this game being complacent. Preston Mommsen has led the team admirably and it will be a huge feather in his cap, if he and his side are able to pull off a win at Hobart today. LIVE CRICKET STREAMING: Australia vs Scotland
