Australia have recovered after three early strikes in the semi-final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 against South Africa at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Earlier, Kagiso Rabada had snared early wickets with some fiery bowling and that had Australia in the middle. In 24 overs, they are 88 for three.

Alex Gregory then joined Jake Doran and they have moved about quite stably. Doran has played with caution and aggression and is taking his chances when they come. Gregory has been more sedate and has focused on letting Doran do the job. Australia will depend heavily on this pair to get them through and now that they have recovered, it is a good sign.
