Cameron Boyce, Australia’s leg-break bowler feels he has been bowling very well at the moment. He added that he has been in good form off late after many years. Boyce, playing for Cricket Australia XI (CA XI) picked four wickets for 84 runs in the second innings (six in the match) against the visiting West Indies at Brisbane. His performance helped CA XI thrust a 10-wicket victory. Boyce has only played in Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket for Australia till now. Even after this brilliant performance, Boyce has not been selected for Queensland Bulls in the final three Sheffield Shield games. Off-spinner Jason Florsos has been preferred over Boyce. In a conversation with the Cricket Australia’s official website he said, “I was pretty happy. I was saying to the coach that it’s probably the best I’ve bowled in the last couple of years. After being left out of the Shield team for the last few rounds it was good to get some hard work in again and to get some wickets. It’s good to prove people wrong. The selectors know what they are doing, so hopefully I’ll put on a few more good performances on like that and get back in the team as soon as possible.” Boyce will play for Hobart Hurricanes in Big Bash League 2015-16 and hopes to continue his good form in the BBL matches as well.
