Australia won the toss as they go into the 9th One-Day Internationals of the Commonwealth Bank Series without two-time World Cup winning former captain Ricky Ponting.

Australia won the toss as they go into the 9th One-Day Internationals of the Commonwealth Bank Series without two-time World Cup winning former captain Ricky Ponting.
Ben Hilfenhaus returns to the Australian side as the hosts start their new era without Ponting. The Sri Lankan squad remained unchanged.
The Australians sit atop the table with 14 points after winning three out of their five matches. The Lankans are three points adrift after a couple of wins, equal number of losses and a tie from their five games so far.
