Women’s World T20 2016 cricket is all set to witness it’s 1st semi-final clash between Australia Women vs England Women at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. Australia are aiming for their fourth title while England will want to gain the second title to their name. England had opened the Women’s World T20 with an easy win against Bangladesh and that was followed by very close encounters against the likes of India and West Indies. England had restricted the West Indians at 108 in 20 overs. Although the target was not huge, West Indies’ Shaquana Quintyne and Afy Fletcher almost defended that total for their side. That match exposed the weakness of the English women against spinners and the Southern Stars have to take advantage of that in the knockout match on Wednesday. While the men’s team have already made their way out to the tournament, Southern Stars need to live up to the expectations and win it for them.
While the men’s England team also clash on Wednesday at Delhi against New Zealand, the women’s team are also all set to clash against Australia.
