Australia’s women’s cricket team will host the West Indies team in a top-of-the-table clash in the second of the ICC Women’s Championship.Three One-Day Internationals will be played in this bilateral tournament. The first two games will be played at Sydney and the last one at Bowral.
“We are expecting a fierce contest for the top spot on the ladder, said Australia captain Meg Lanning, reported the official website of the international cricket council.
“We top the standings now right now and want to be there when the series is finished,” said Merissa Aguillera, the West Indies captain.
Australia are the reigning world champions, but the West Indies are on equal points after the finitial round, but the visitors occupy the top spot due to their better net run-rate.
