Earlier, Hafeez brought up his 25th ODI fifty off the 53rd delivery that he faced. Pakistan earlier elected to bat after winning the toss, with both teams making two changes each in their lineups — debutant Babar Azam and Junaid Khan in place of Haris Sohail and Mohammad Sami for Pakistan, with debutant Roy Kaia and Christopher Mpfou coming in place of Brian Vitori and Tawanda Mupariwa for Zimbabwe.
