Bangladesh ready for possible India match in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 quarter-finals: Mashrafe Mortaza

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza said on Monday that his team is ready to take on India in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 quarter-final match. Bangladesh on Monday knocked England out of the ongoing 2015 World Cup with their 15-run win in the Pool A match 33 at the Adelaide Oval.

Mortaza told Star Sports after Bangladesh’s historic win over England, “Yes I think we are ready for India. But we don’t want to look too far ahead and want to concentrate on the upcoming match against New Zealand.” Bangladesh, New Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka in World Cup 2015 quarter-finals

Mashrafe said that he doesn’t want to look into the past as it happened a long time back and the Indian team is a different unit all together now. India are currently at the top spot in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 points table with eight points in four matches.

England were on Monday knocked out of the World Cup, which means that Bangladesh, New Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka have qualified for the quarter-final round. Few of these teams are yet to finish all their matches hence the position in the points table is not yet confirmed.
