Captain’s innings by Mushfiqur Rahim saw Bangladesh register a three wicket win over the West Indies in their T20 match at Dhaka on Tuesday.
Chasing a modest 133, Bangladesh scored 135 for seven with one ball to spare.
Mushfiqur Rahim was the top scorer with an unbeaten 41.
Ravi Rampaul was the pick of the West Indies bowlers with figures of two for 28.
Earlier, West Indies scored 132 for eight in their allotted 20 overs.
Put into bat, West Indies lost opener Adrian Barath in the fourth over.
Lendl Simmons and Marlon Samuels stitched a quickfire partnership of 36 runs.
But once Simmons departed, West Indies batting collapsed as they lost last five wickets for a mere 30 runs.
Marlon Samuels top scored for West Indies with 58 runs, while Abdur Razzak, Shafiul Islam and Shakib Al Hasan shared the spoils with two-wickets apiece.
