This is the fourth One-Day International (ODI) of the ongoing Ireland Tri-Nation series 2017 and the hosts will take on Bangladesh. None of the two teams have yet won any match in the series and this match at Malahide, Dublin will be their chance to register the first victory and step closer to the final. The live cricket streaming of the match will be available on Gazi TV (GTV) and Massranga TV in Bangladesh. Sky Sports and Willow TV will live telecast in the United States of America (USA), United Kingdom (UK) and worldwide. This will be the third match for both Ireland and Bangladesh in the series. Bangladesh started off well in their previous ODI, putting up 75 runs without any loss against New Zealand but collapsed soon after that, finishing their innings with 257 for 9 on the board at the end of 50 overs. Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah were the top performers with the bat. However, apart from Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain, no other bowler was much effective. New Zealand registered a convincing 4-wicket victory in the match making the remaining matches crucial for Bangladesh to reach the final. Ireland, too will have to win the match to keep their chances alive, as they too were defeated by New Zealand in their previous ODI.
This series is a good practice for New Zealand and Bangladesh, who will soon be a part of ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Though Ireland will not play in the mega tournament, hosting such a high-intensity tournament will be beneficial for them.
